Passer — Data Acquisition Controller
Passer is an industrial controller for high-frequency acquisition and primary signal processing from external sensors. It is important to understand: Passer is not a sensor, but an intelligent interface between physical sensors and the upper-level system.

Mental Model
"Not just 'capture the signal', but immediately answer: what's wrong with it?"
Passer digitizes the analog signal at up to 92 kHz and computes basic metrics: RMS, crest factor. The raw signal is transmitted to Larus, where spectral analysis (FFT) and detailed diagnostics are performed.

When to Choose Which?
Choose Passer-V if:
- You need precise fault localization (bearing, gear mesh, imbalance)
- You monitor mechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, gearboxes)
- You need high-frequency analysis (up to 51.2 kHz)
Choose Passer-T if:
- You need electric motor diagnostics without shutdown
- Installation is in a hard-to-reach or hazardous area
- Budget is limited (CTs only, no accelerometers)
Recommendation: Passer-T as a first step (fast, affordable, no shutdown), Passer-V — where precision matters (fault type, remaining life prediction). For a complete picture — use both on the same machine.
Passer-Sch
A separate variant — a mounting board for grounding monitoring in CVM100 enclosures. Not a data acquisition controller in the traditional sense.
